I contacted the professor today for clarification on billing and when everything is due. Here is his response:

Due by April 25: (This is not a homework assignment list-- rather a checklist of tasks for class tomorrow and to be completed by April 25.)

  • Respond to the reflection question on p. 3.18 on your personal page in the wiki. Remember to identify this response as Module 3, Activity 6 and begin your response with the wording provided in Activity 6: "This module has helped me think about the impact of the Internet....."
  • Share ideas about how you plan to incorporate the use of the Internet in your unit on your personal page of the wiki.(reference p. 4.01)
  • On your personal page of the wiki, discuss the topic in the Module 4, Pedagogical Practices (p. 4.02). Respond to the ideas presented by your Pair and Share partner from module 3.
  • On your personal page of the wiki, respond to the Module 4: Activity 6 reflective question. Identify this entry as Module 4: Activity 6 reflection.
  • Have your student sample completed and uploaded to your personal page by April 21. Pair/Share parterners should provide feedback.
  • Have your instructional procedures completed and in your unit plan by April 25.
  • Create a summative assessment for your student sample and place it in the assessment folder of your portfolio.
  • Revisit and revise your unit plan based on the work you have done in module 5 following the guidelines on pp. 5.16 and 5.17.
  • Add your module 5 reflection to your personal page on the wiki.
  • Share your student sample and assessment via your personal page on the wiki. Pair/Share partners should provide feedback.
  • Write a draft of the strategies you will use in the Accommodations for Differentiated Instruction section of your unit plan.
  • Read the Pedagogical Practices: Supporting the Diverse Needs of Students section on pp. 6.08-6.09 and on your personal wiki page share tools and strategies that you might use to support student learning. Pair/Share partners should provide feedback.
  • Following the guidelines provided on 6.10 and 6.11, create a student support resource using one of the 4 options provided on p. 6.11.
  • Using the unit plan checklist, review your unit plan. Revise the Assessment Plan section to include additional assessments, modify the instructional procedures section to include how you are planing to use the student support materials you created, and implement and differentiation strategies you described. Revise your Accommodations for Differentiated Instruction section.
  • Respond to the Module 6 reflection prompt (on p. 6.15) on your personal page labeling this as your Module 6 reflection.

In the February 2008 issue of Library Media Connection, p. 48, Carol Simpson seems to think it is okay if you confine it to one classroom and use a "home type" player.

"However, playing music for background as long as you are using a typical home-type player is not a problem. Once you extend beyond a home-type player into media distribution, or the PA system, you are going to have a difficult time justifying this." C. Simpson; Library Media Connection; Feb. 2008, p 48.

Be sure to identify yourself as part of the group. Then respond to the three questions. Be sure to save after you have entered your responses.
· Activity 1 (pg. 3.04): Respond on your personal wiki page to the brainstorming question after giving consideration to questions 1 and 2 on page 3.04.
